Acting Basic Education Officer Ramathirth Verma told reporters here, “The marksheets of 33 teachers whose marksheet was found to be fake from Agra University in 2004-05 are being dismissed.” While the investigation of the remaining teachers with tamper-proof marksheet is going on, ” he said.
According to sources, in the investigation of Special Investigation Team (SIT) set up in 2016 to investigate this case, the marksheet of 4,700 teachers who got B.Ed degree was found to be wrong in the session 2004-05 of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra. He told that many of these degrees were completely fake, so many of their marksheets were tampered with. In this, the papers of 59 teachers of Mathura were also found to be fake.
They told that all these were suspended in the month of September. Last month, after giving notice of termination of service to all these, time was given to put their side till 26 November. On the recommendation of the dismissal action by SIT against them, District Basic Education Officer Chandrashekhar has issued an order to sack 33 teachers.
